The Captains of Cat's Meow are John and Barb Brown, who each hold a U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Master License. They each have over 25 years sailing experience, and have sailed all of the Great Lakes as well as on the ocean. Both are very conscientious, safety minded, and hold the comfort and enjoyment of their guests as a very high priority.

Captain John is also a licensed minister and can perform small wedding ceremonies on the boat, either at dock or on the lake.
